Born in Zimbabwe in 1976, Webster studied Visual Arts at the B.A.T School of Arts under the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, graduating with a First Class pass. He earned the Progressive Artist award in 2009 having studied printmaking, sculpture, fabric design and visual arts.
Webster is enthused by the spirituality of dreams, focusing on beautiful landscapes in colourful abstraction, portraying political, traditional, local and global social issues. He enjoys working on canvas using acrylic and oil paint. Webster
loves to work with vibrant ethnic colours as he strives to promote and draw the attention of the viewers of his work to agriculture and farming which is a vital sector in Zimbabwe’s economy. He has traveled extensively and exhibited his work across the globe.

Webster’s Statement on the Exhibition:
Wedza community's got unity and a love of working together to support their life and progress forward. Even though they have some challenges of not having enough resources, they try to push their projects to move forward.
Since they live very far from each other, they have had challenges communicating and working with one another, but now, they are overcoming this by using the hamba as a means of transport.
